Probiotics: Take with a meal or on an empty stomach?

This question comes up a lot as many supplemental probiotics offer conflicting directions on their labels...some suggest taking the supplement with a meal, some on an empty stomach and some don't specify. This new post from Dr. Greger showcases data developed in a Canadian study that actually replicated the digestive system to find optimal results for supplemental probiotics, concluding the supplements are best taken 30 minutes before or with a meal containing some fat content.
